HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL CENTER HOSPICE IN SOUTHFIELD IDA JOYRICH BOND HONOREE Ida Joyrich, well-known community volunteer will be Hadassah's Israel Bond honoree. Inge Kramer and Lucille Weisberg, Israel Bond Co-chairmen for the Greater Detroit Chapter of Hadassah have announced plans for the two events at which she will be honored. A parlor meeting will be held at the home of Janet Aronoff of Bloomfield Hills on Monday, June 18. Invita- tions to this special lunch- eon are being sent to prev- ious bond purchasers. Gerald Meister, director of the Institute of Interreli- gious Studies at Bar Ilan University and director of the Ramapo Institute in Rockdale, New York, a re- search center specializing in international relations, will be the speaker. Helping patients and their families cope in his pleasant, pain-free environment would be a real mitzvah. A ten week training course is being or- ganized to enable Hadassah members to provide this valuable service. There is also a need for women who will work on promoting legislations favorable to the Hospice program. For in- formation call 559-9209.
