the Year by Henry Morgen-
thau Lodge, of which he was
president.
He served on the boards of
directors of Hillel Day
School and United Hebrew
Schools, and was chairman
of the Detroit Board of
License for Teachers of
Jewish Education. In addi-
tion, he chaired the B'nai
B'rith Youth Organization's
50th anniversary and has
served on youth and educa-
tion committees of his con-
gregation.
Weisberg holds a doctor of
Law degree from the Uni-
versity of Michigan, where
he was a leader of the stu-
dent government. A
member of the board of ad-
visers of Wayne State Uni-
versity Press and of the
Western Michigan Faculty
Advisory Committee on
Food Distribution, he also
participates in the food dis-
tribution seminars co-
sponsored by Michigan
State University.
The seminary is the cen-
ter of Conservative Jud-
aism, and through its var-
ious schools and depart-
ments, the training ground
for the movement's reli-
gious leaders and educators.
The seminary also offers
degree courses in Jewish
studies to laymen and spon-
sors a wide range of educa-
tional, cultural, and inter-
faith activities, including,
in addition to its new
Boesky Family Library,
the Jewish Museum, the
Eternal Light broad-
casts on network radio and
television, and Ramah
Camps in the United States,
Canada and Israel. In addi-
tion to its New York cam-
pus, the seminary main-
