Guest speaker will be Barry Weise, director, Task Force on Ethiopian Jewry, National Jewish Commu- nity Relations Advisory Council. Weise has lectured na- tionally and abroad on the plight of Ethiopian Jews, has organized international educational efforts and has worked with Ethiopian Jews. He has been the director of the World Jewry Com- mittee of the Los Angeles, Calif., Community Rela- tions Council. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Weise was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honorary. The public is invited free of charge. Southfield art scholarships Three Southfield art stu: dents have been awarded scholarships from the city's Arts Council. They are: Wendy Davis, a student at the Center for Creative Studies; Wendy Delidow, of Michigan State University; and Michelle Ann Reimer, a student at the University of Michigan.
