JNF dinner
cites Allans

When the Jewish Na-
tional Fund honors Norman
and Esther Allan at a tes-
timonial dinner on June 20
at Adat Shalom Synagogue,
event will mark the 21st
niversary of the first
dNF-Detroit sponsored tes-
timonial.
The festivities, which in-
clude dinner and the dedica-
tion of a major project in Is-
rael in the honorees' names,
began in 1963 when the late
Mr. Abe Kasle was honored.
The Allans will be hon-
ored with the naming of the
JNF project in Israel for
them.
The Allans project is the '
latest in the listaJNF proj-
ects established, by De-
troiters. Previous testimo-
nial honorees are: Bernard
Isaacs (1965), Leonard N.
Simons (1966), Louis Berry
(1967), Paul Zuckerman
(1968), jrwin I. Cohn (1969),

Shaarey Zedek's nursery
school and kindergarten,
will celebrate its 35th an-
niversary with a Shabbat
dinner and special Friday
night service and reception
on June 8. •
The dinner will be limited
to those families who are
presently involved in the
nursery school, kindergar-
ten or parent-toddler
classes. Anyone else who
has ever been associated
h the Beth Hayeled is
vited at 7:15 p.m. to
attend the services in the
main sanctuary and the
Oneg Shabbat afterward.
Members of the first
graduating class, in par-
ticular, should call the nur-
sery school office, 357-5544
so they can be recognized at
this event. Former Beth
Hayeleders who may have
pictures or other items con-
nected with their involve-
ment in the Beth Hayeled
should also call the nursery
school office as a pictorial
presentation of events and

with regard to tickets, which will not be mailed. It is
essential to obtain your tickets (two per family) from the
Synagogue office by May 11th. Thereafter, the general
public will be invited to obtain the remaining tickets.
