Benevolent Society to com-
plete the term vacated by
the sudden death of Mr.
Samuel A. Kayne.
Abrams served as vice
president for the past 2 1/2
years and was an active
member of the board of di-
rectors for many years.
Abrams has been active
in the Young Israel move-
-ment of Detroit for many
years. He is a former
president of Yeshivath Beth
Yehudah and is on its steer-
ing committee. He is a board
member of the Mikvah Is-
rael Organization and is
gabai of Cong. B'nai
Israel-Beth Yehudah.

event Sunday

The Mikvah Israel and
Women's Orthodox League
annual dinner will take
place Sunday at the
Sheraton-Southfield Hotel.
The dinner will begin at
6:30 p.m., with cocktails
preceding at 5:30 p.m.

Binyamin Moskowitz, an
18-year-old Yeshiva stu-
dent from Ashkelon, won
the annual International
Youth Bible Quiz here
Monday with a perfect score
of 100 points. But popular
sentiment was with the
runner-up, Hillel Novetsky,
14, of New York, who came
within four points of becom-
ing the first non-Israeli
Bible Quiz winner in 10
years. There were 21 con-
testants from 11 countries.
