Council aim: register voters The Jewish Community Council of Metropolitan De- troit will participate in a voter registration project, and has gained membership in the Promote Michigan Committee. The council executive committee also allocated monies to a number of community organizations from its Urban Affairs Fund. Voter registration will be promoted by Council's Community Relations Committee (CRC) in coop- eration with the city clerks of Oak Park and Southfield. On designated days, the cities will staff registration tables and Council will alert the Jewish community to the locations and times for voter registration.
