Slowly. If
you're not cur-
, _rently exercising
on a regular basis,
you can't expect to start

morning. Begin with something
you can do — walking a half-mile,
or even a quarter-mile. After several
days, when that becomes easier, in-
crease the amount of ewcise.

Build more exercise into your daily life:

Remove some of your home extwsiptelephones; use the
stairs instead of the elevator; park://frtlhe far end of the lot
at shopping centers; walk, don't drive, to the corner store.

Check with your physician before beginning any exercise
program.
