Until recently, Rosenberg divided his time between Is- rael and the U.S., working as editor and project direc- tor for the Institute for Translation of Hebrew Lit- erature in Tel Aviv, in af- filiation with the National Foundation for Jewish Cul- ture in New York. Forth- coming: Jewish Imaginative Writing, the magazine he co-founded with Nessa Rapoport of Bantam Books, was launched in 1982 as "an independent literary sup- plement" of Moment maga- zine. Rosenberg is the author of several books, including the Poet's Bible series (Harper & Row): Blues of the Sky, in- terpretations of Psalms; Job Speaks, an interpretation of the Book of Job; and Light- works, interpreted froth the Book of Isaiah.
