Sunday at the synagogue.
There is no charge, and all

held at 9 a.m. Saturday.

B'NAI DAVID youth
services are held every
Saturday at 10 a.m. Chil-
dren are taught prayers,
customs, songs, and games
in addition to having dis-
cussions on Jewish topics.
Pesach services for children
age 4-12 on the eighth day,
Tuesday, will be held at 10

- Alumni of Michigan State
Temple Youth, classes of
1960-1966, will gather at
Temple Israel for a reunion
conclave on Nov. 23-25.
Shabbat services at Tem-
ple Israel's annual college
homecoming will be fol-
lowed by an Oneg Shabbat
and a get-reacquainted
mixer.
The Nov. 24 program in-
cludes workshops by MSTY
alumni, lunch and a "50s"
dance with a host of special
surprises, including
entertainment.
The conclave will con-
clude with Sunday brunch
and a "nostalgia" friendship
circle with songs from the
MSTY past.

Emigre art exhibit, Israeli
entertainer due at Center

The third annual exhibit
of art works by Russian-
Jewish emigre artists will
open at the Jewish Commu-
nity Center from Sunday
through May 6.
The official opening will
be marked by a group of a
group of young emigre
musicians who will present
a program at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Refreshments will be
served.

Israeli entertainer Gadi
Elon will entertain at the
community-wide Israel In-
dependence Day celebration
at 2:30 p.m. May 20.
Elon began his career in
the Israeli Navy where the
entertainment troupe soon
claimed him. Joining the
Haifa Theater, Elon ap-
peared in productions by
Shakespeare and Chekhov,
in the comedy "Cactus
Flower" and in Moshe
Shaimir's "He Walked
Through the Fields" among
others.

ment will begin a seven-
week lecture series on "The
World of Our Mothers and
Fathers: The Immigrant
Experience." at 1 p.m. April
