Dr. Gorne is a member of the medical societies, Gen- eral Practice Society, is a board certified practitioner and on the staffs of the Hur- ley, McLaren and St. Joseph Hospitals. At St. Joseph he is a member of the patient relationship committee. Flint Obituaries Sara Klein Sarah Schwartz Klein, a member of Cong. Beth Is- rael and Hadassah, died March 26. A former Flint resident, Mrs. Klein resided in Florida at the time of her death. She is survived by a son, Alfred; a daughter, Dora; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Family Seder at Flint Beth El Flint's Temple Beth El will celebrate Passover at 6 p.m. Tuesday with a con- gregational family Seder. Seating is limited to 150. Donations of sponge cake are welcome.. Senior adult program slated to benefit visually impaired The senior adult depart- ment of the Jewish Com- munity Center, in coopera- tion with the Greater De- troit Society for the Blind, announces a series of eight workshops for the visually impaired will begin at 10 a.m. May 2 at the Jimmy Prentis Morris Branch. These sessions are de- signed to help the legally blind and those with visual impairment to maintain and develop skills which will support their indepen- dence. The meetings will be held twice a month. Sighted volunteers are being sought to participate in the workshops and to as- sist the members of the group. These workshops are an- other project of the "20/20" program developed for people with vision prob- lems. To register and for in- formation, call Miriam Sandweiss, 967-4030. The "Ask Your Agency" series of the senior adult de- partment of the Jewish Community Center will present a program on the Jewish Vocational Service at 1 p.m. today in room 13 of the Morris Branch Shirley Schlang, director of counseling and place- ment services at JVS, will be the guest speaker.
