"I Get Around"

"The Fish I
Caught..."

Elaine lives in a home with
other capable women.
Eventually she hopes to move
into her own apartment. One of
the important opportunities
Elaine needs is to move about
the community as
independently as possible. She
can shop, go to work, and go to
the movies on her own using
public transportation. But the
cost of a SEMTA bus card is
prohibitive out of her limited
personal funds.

"And It's A Low

Myron, JARC's resident

and play eight games. We have

sorely needed.

"And The Next
Number Is N-32"

If this is America, there's a
Bingo game going on
somewhere. And JARC
residents are part of the fun. We
play monthly during fall, winter
and spring. It's lots of fun, with
prizes and refreshments.

SUPPLEMENT OF THE DETKOIT JEWISH NEWS

..... ••

Our camping trips to Northern
Michigan are a summer
highlight. We make six trips
each year with six to twelve
residents. Equipment is needed,
including a fold-out camper so
physicially restricted residents
can come along without having
to sleep on the ground. We need
a new camp stove and lantern,
and fishing equipment—and
always, expenses for the trips
themselves. The North woods
are calling!
