"Be Joyous . . . Be Crea-
tive . . . Be Jewish" is the
theme of the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation Women's
Division Spring Forum, set
for 9:15 a.m. April 10 at the
main Jewish Community
Center. All women in the
community are welcome.
Highlighting the pro-
gram will be Dennis Prager,
author of The Nine Ques-
tions People Ask About
Judaism.
In keeping with the
theme of the day, Spring
Forum committee members
will prepare tables set for
Shabat and Jewish holi-
days, such as Rosh Hashana
and Passover. There will be
an exhibit of Jewish cere-
monial objects from the
women's own homes, and a
display of their children's
artwork on Jewish subjects.

Barbara Zack is chair-
man of Spring Forum. She is
being assisted by Barbara
Cook, associate and pro-
gram chairman; Nancy
Glass and Beverly Liss, de-
corations chairmen; Carol
Lawrence and Women's Di-
vision Vice President Susan
Citrin, design; Annie Co-
hen, adviser; and Karen
Singer, secretary.

Tickets available
for JNF auction

A limited number of tic-
kets are still available for
the Young Women of the
Jewish National 'Fund's
13th annual auction
scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Sunday at Temple Beth El.
Tickets will be available at
the door.

Items to be auctioned are:
trips to Israel and Las
Vegas, out-of-town hotel ac-
commodations, dinners at
local restaurants, dinners
and brunches "catered" by
JNF members, facials and
massages,
jewelry,
appliances,
crystal,
lingerie, leather handbags,
hockey tickets and a hand-
painted blown glass Seder
plate from Israel. Unusual
items up for bid include an
opportunity to visit with
Detroit Tiger TV broadcas-
ter George Kell in the
broadcast booth and the
chance to be an extra in the
Metropolitan Opera.
