Bombs defused
in Jerusalem

Jerusalem (JTA) — Two
explosive charges were
found and safely defused in
widely separated areas of
Jerusalem Tuesday. Police
urged the public to keep a
sharp watch for suspicious-
looking objects.
One explosive device was
planted near a bus stop on
the Bethlehem road in the
southern outskirts of the
city. The other was at the
railway station.
Security sources warned
of possible stepped-up ter-
rorist activity this week be-
cause of the fifth anniver-
sary of the signing of the
Israeli-Egyptian peace
treaty and "Land Day" to-
day. "Land Day" is an occa-
sion for protests by Palesti-
nians against the confisca-
tion of their lands on the
West Bank.
Fire bombs and stones
were thrown at Jewish
buses passing through West
Bank towns Tuesday. Win-
dows were broken, but there
were no casualties. Em-
ployees of the Arab-owned
electric corporation were
ordered to remove Palesti-
nian flags planted on top of
power pylons Monday
night.

Troops fired on
in S. Lebanon

Tel Aviv (JTA)
There
were no casualties in three
attempts to attack IDF
forces in southern Lebanon
last week. Automatic
weapons were fired at an
IDF outpost on the eastern
sector of the front last Fri-
day, but nobody was hurt.
On Thursday, a patrol
was fired on from a roadside
ambush south of the Zaha-
rani River, and a grenade
was thrown at an IDF patrol
in Sidon.
Recent attacks are all
thought to have been car-
ried out by small groups of
Shiite Moslems. But Uri
Lubrani, coordinator of Is-
raeli activities in Lebanon,
stressed that they were only
small groups and did not
necesssarily reflect major-
ity Shiite feelings. If their
aim was to get Israel to
withdraw quickly, they
were mistaken, he said.

The memories of Passover's gone by. The reading of The Haggadah–
The Kiddush–The Matzoh–The MaNishtanah–The stories of the Exodus,
the Aficomin, and above all the singing of the traditional songs and
melodies that are part of the Passover seder.
However, there is still one more tradition which has become a part
of the family Seder table–Manischewitz wine. Manischewitz wine always
graced every holiday table, particularly the
Passover Seder table. It spans
generations and somehow symbolizes the
continuity of the family Seder.
The "flavor" of Passover would not be
the same without Manischewitz Kosher Wine.
