The Lubavitch Women's
Organization has received a
special tribute from Gov.
James Blanchard on the oc-
casion of the group's obser-
vance of the Week of the
Jewish Woman, March
16-25.
During the weeklong ob-
servance, exhibits portray-
ing the role of the Jewish
woman are on display at the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch of the Jewish Com-
munity Center and at Har-
vard Row mall.
At 10 a.m. Sunday, the
week will conclude at the
Bais Chabad Torah Center
of West Bloomfield with a
brunch and workshops.
Reservations are required,
and there is a charge. For
reservations and informa-

being taken for the Hadas-
sah Pool Groups' program to
be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at
the Southfield Civic Center
Auditorium.
Maxine Kronick will pre-
sent a program, "From the

eon will be served at 11:30
a.m.
There is a charge.
Round-trip bus transporta-
tion will be available.

will be honored at a petite
luncheon noon April 4 -at the
Birmingham home of Do-
reen Hermelin.
Purchasers of a double

ticket will be entitled to
attend the April 4 luncheon
and Woman's World to be
held May 2 at Cong.

Woman's World, a day-
long event, will feature con-
tinental breakfast,
boutique shopping and
luncheon. Guest speaker

April 4 luncheon will be

They will present a program
entitled, "Jewish Compos-
ers — Mendelssohn to
Broadway."
