He also wrote regularly for the New York Times and London Jewish Chronicle and has contrib- uted articles to a number of national publications. Special to The Jewish News JERUSALEM — Paul Zuckerman of Detroit has been named chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel's Institute for Leadership Development Committee. The committee's aims are both to develop leadership as well as to supervise set- tlement of Jews in areas, hitherto remote from Jewishly - populated areas in Israel. Zuckerman's appoint- ment was made upon his re- tirement from the chair- manship of the board's set- tlement committee which he headed for nearly a de- cade.
