Paper Plant
Hit by Fire

TEL AVIV (JTA) —
Scores of firemen and 17 fire
engines fought a giant blaze
in the Adnir plant near
Hadera last Friday.
The company collects
waste paper throughout the
country for reprocessing by
the Hadera Paper Mills,
parent company of Adnir
which gives part of its pro-
fits to the Soldiers Welfare
Committee.
The fire was fanned by a
strong hot wind which
brought temperatures to
more than 20 degrees
higher than normal.
