UNIFIL Soldiers
Defuse Bomb

TEL AVIV (JTA) —
Norwegian soldiers of the
UN interim forces in Leba-
non (UNIFIL) discovered
and deactivated an explo-
sive charge they found on a
roadside east of the south
Lebanese town of Mar-
jayoun. It was the second
such charge found by UN-
IFIL in that area last week.
During the past month
six attempts at sabotage
were made near the
Lebanese-Israeli border.
