New Israel Child Care Center
Honors Detroiter Mrs. Leemon
A luncheon to mark a spe-
cial birthday and the corn-
pletion of Beit Frieda, the
Frieda and Norman
Leemon Child Care Center
in Ramle, Israel, will be
held noon. March 29 at
Cong. Beth Achim.
The luncheon will pay
tribute to Detroiter Frieda
Leemon, who served as na-
tional president of Pioneer
Women/Naamat from 1978
to 1982.
The child care center was
the brainchild of Mrs.
Leemon's husband, who was
the major benefactor of the
center. The Greater Detroit
Council of Pioneer
Women/Naamat will match
the funds to insure the com-
pletion of the facility.

Monte M. Korn, host of
WXYZ's "Money Talk"
show. The theme of his talk
will be "Investing for To-
morrow."
Korn has been a practic-
ing attorney in the Detroit
area for 40 years. He was
graduated from the Univer-
sity of California at Los
Angeles and the Wayne
State University Schools of
Law and Business Adminis-
tration.
