arship Endowment Fund
was announced by Detroiter
Erwin Ziegelman, Midwest
Region chairman of the
American Friends of the
Hebrew University, and
Harold Berry, president of
the Michigan Chapter.
The fund will enable stu-
dents to pursue the study of
psychology within the uni-
versity's faculty of social
sciences on Mount Scopus in
Jerusalem.
We have always been
interested in the study of
mental health," Mrs. Sas-
love said recently. This
is our way of showing our
concern and interest in
Israel as well."
Mr. and Mrs. Saslove
have been active in Jewish
organizations in Detroit.
Mrs. Saslove, who holds an
associate of arts degree in
mental health, served as
vice president of Greater
Detroit Council of Pioneer
Women as well as president
of Israel Chapter. Mr. Sas-
love has been active on be-
half of Histadrut.

cheese
1 81/2 oz. can crushed pineap-
ple, drained
1 3/4 cups chopped pecans, di-
vided
Whip cream cheese; stir in
remaining ingredients, except
one cup of pecans. Shape into
a ball and roll in 1 cup of nuts.
Cover in plastic wrap and re-
frigerate overnight. Place on
platter, surrounded by sesame
crackers.
