Sharabi has appeared on stage, screen and television in Israel, Europe and in the U.S. In his performances, he uses a variety of instru- ments and sings in French, Ladino, Russian and Yid- dish, among others. Meanwhile, the Center is displaying the photo- graphic work of Rodney Smith, in an exhibit entitled: "In the Land of Light: Israel — A Portrait of Its People." The photographs con- tained in the exhibit were shot in 1976, when Smith was a guest of the Jerusalem • Foundation.
