Shalom Synagogue. Rabbi

NEW YORK (JTA) —
Touro College has estab-
lished a Jewish education
department to prepare edu-
cation professionals for the
day school movement.
The department has been
set up in the college's
Graduate School of Jewish
Studies and its chairman is
Dr. William Brickman, pro-
fessor emeritus of Educa-
tional History and Com-
parative Education at
Pennsylvania University.

Bittker of Hyattsville, Md.,
was her sister's maid of
honor. Lisa Farber of Los
Angeles, Calif., was the
bridesmaid.
Dr. Marshall Cossman
of Flint was his brother's
best man. Ushers were
Dr. Robert Golden of
Silver Spring, Md., and
Dr. Douglas Golden of
Portland, Ore.
The bride's grandmother
Mrs. Ida C. Miller, who was
escorted down the aisle by
grandson Craig Barth of
Randolph, N.J., also par-
ticipated in the ceremony.
The new Mrs. Cossman
earned a BSN degree at the
University .of Michigan
School of Nursing. Her hus-
band earned a MD degree at
the U-M medical school.
Following a honeymoon
trip to Barbados and a
Caribbean cruise, the
couple is residing in
Bethesda, Md.
