lic Affairs Committee
(AIPAC) in Washington,
D.C., will speak on "The
Arab Lobby" at 8 p.m. Jan.
23 in the LaMed Au-
ditorium of United Hebrew
Schools.
The program is jointly
sponsored by the Lecture
Series and Political Aware-
ness committees of the
Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion's Young Adult Di-
vision.
Kessler is the principal
force behind AIPAC's polit-
ical leadership development
program, which commands
a membership of 5,000 stu-
dents nationwide, and has
served as a catalyst for pro-
Israel political action at
more than 375 colleges.
He received his BA de-
gree in political science
from Colgate University
and has also studied at
the University of Haifa.
In the past few years,
Kessler has given more
than 1,000 addresses on the
U.S.-Israel relationship, the
Arab-Israeli conflict.
He is the author of the
soon-to-be-published mono-
graph, "The AIPAC College
Guide," an in-depth
analysis of pro- and anti-
Israeli campus activity
which includes a directory
of 100 colleges.
