The Southfield Commu-
nity Placement service is
seeking employers to par-
ticipate in its federally
funded, on-the-job training
program.
Employers may choose
qualified applicants from a
roster provided by the
placement service and they
will receive a 50 percent
reimbursement for gross
wages paid during the
training period. Additional
tax credits may be available
upon completion of train-
ing.
The placement bureau is
also sponsoring a training
program for unemployed,
low-income Oakland
County residents. This serv-
ice is free.
