Bodmer, director or research of the Imperial Cancer. Research Fund of London, has..been awarded the 1983 Rabbi Shai Shacknai Memorial Prize in Immunology and Cancer Research from Hebrew University. The prize and guest lec- tureship, which carry with them a cash award of $7,500, were established by Sen. Frank Lautenberg (R-N.J.), in memory of the late Shai `Shacknai, a Jerusalem-born rabbi who served,as spiritual leader of the Jewish community of Wayne, N.J.
