NEW YORK — The
Jewish Braille Institute of
America (JBI) has opened a
low vision clinic at the Tel
Aviv Medical Center.
The clinic, which began
serving patients Dec. 1, is
geared specifically for those
with a lack of central vision,
tunnel vision, severely
limited sight and other ail-
ments that cannot be helped
by standard ophthalmologi-
cal procedures. The clinic
will serve children and
adults, including members
of the Israel Defense Forces
who have incurred eye in-
juries.
