ADL Lectures

NEW YORK - Peter
Grose, author of "Israel in
the Mind of America," will
kick off a series of "meet the
author" luncheons spon-
sored by the Anti-
Defamation League of Bnai
Brith Jan. 10 in New York.

A total of $10,000 was
raised in Detroit and close
to $250,000 will be realized
nationally.
The Detroit program was
organized by the JNF Coun-
cil and was held through the
cooperation of Hadassah at
its offices in Southfield. In
addition to individuals vol-
unteering their services,
the Young Women of JNF
and the Erev Chapter of
JNF played major roles in
recruitment of volunteers.
Helen Ring was the coun-
cil representative who re-
cruited over 40 volunteers
to aid in the phone solicita-
tions.
