that the women's 54th an-
nual donor luncheon spon-
sored by the Women of JNF
will be held noon Tuesday at

The donor will be occasion
to celebrate the completion
of the three-year commit-
ment to raise $250,000 in
order to restore the de-
stroyed Kiryat Shmona
recreation facilities.

son D. Cohen, chancellor of
the Jewish Theological
Seminary, and Mark E.
Talisman, director of the
Washington office of the
Council of Jewish Federa-
tions, will head a program of
speakers and sessions at the
national conference and
open board meeting of the
Women's, League for Con-
servative Judaism,' to be
held Monday - Wednesday
in Cleveland. "Generating
Positives" is the theme of
the event.
Dr. Cohen will deliver the
keynote address, "The
Achievements of the Past
100 Years of Jewish His-
tory," to some 400 Women's
League leaders expected
from, throughout the United
States and Canada. Talis-
man, an expert on the
American Jewish commu-
nity and the United States
government, will discuss
"The Influence of the
Economy on Family Issues."
