Akiva youth groups will
meet 3:50 p.m. Saturday at
the synagogue.
The groups are held as fol-
lows: girls, nursery through
sixth grade, and boys, nur-

Brandeis AZA will
sponsor a movie party 8 p.m.
Saturday at the main
United Hebrew Schools
building. The evening will
feature "Three Stooges"
movies and cartoons. There

AZA, will be in charge of
program supervision.
AZA and BBG members
will participate in the fifth
annual Youth Symposium
on the Holocaust 9 a.m.
Wednesday at the Met-
ropolitan United Methodist
Church, 8000 Woodward,
Detroit. Students will be ex-
cused from school for this
program.
The cost of the program is
free, and BBYO will offer
transportation by chartered
bus from the BBYO office at
8:30 a.m. at a nominal

Camp Young Judea will
sponsor a camp rally and
reunion 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at
the main United Hebrew
Schools building.
The new camp director,
Louis Kellner, will present
a slide program about the
camp. Located in Orton-
ville, the camp specializes
in teaching Jewish tradi-
tion and values in a pro-
gram combined with reg-
ular camping activities, in-
cluding boating, sports,
camping, arts and crafts,
drama. music and dancing.
Camp programs are ex-
tended throughout the
years through Hashachar,
the Hadassah-sponsored
youth organization, whose
Detroit director is Leslie
Dickstein.
Youth in grades four-nine
and their parents are in-
