Rabbi Jack Goldman, administrator of the Coun- cil, worked out an arrange- ment with Alicia Karr of the JFS to contact some 60 Rus- sian Jewish families and offer them this service. Ms. Karr will send a letter in Russian to all the families in this category, giving them the names of the members of the Kosher Meat Dealers Association. By presenting this letter to the members of the asso- ciation, these people will re- ceive a 10 percent discount on all purchases, including items that are already on sale. A similar discount is being given to senior citi- zens and to those who make their kosher meat pur- chases with food stamps. Allan A.
