Mrs. Miller is a member
of Northeast Chapter of
Women's American ORT.
She is on the board of Or-
chestra Hall and the board
of the Detroit Community
School. She is head of the
music committee of Temple
Israel and is on the board of
the Meadow Brook Music
Festival committee.
Miller is a past president
of the Jewish Community
Center and past president of
United Jewish Charities.
He has worked on many
committees of the United
Jewish Appeal and on the
UJC endowment commit-
tee. He also is on the board
of Sinai Hospital of Detroit.
Dr. Haber has served
the University of Michi-
gan since 1936 as dean of
the College of Literature,
Science and the Arts and
in retirement holds the
position of adviser to the
executive officers at the
university. He has served
every President of the
United States from
Roosevelt to Reagan as
an adviser on Social Se-
curity and union insur-
ance programs. He is past
president of the Ameri-
can ORT Federation and
past president of the
World ORT Union. He is
honorary president of the
World ORT Union.
Ms. Fruchtman is from
Toledo, Ohio, where she
served in many ORT leader-
ship positions. She has been
a member of the national
executive committee of
Women's American ORT
since 1970. In Toledo, she
has been a vice president of
the Jewish federation's
women's board, and officer
of the Toledo Hebrew
Academy and served on the
Toledo federation's commu-
nity relations committee,
social services committee
and also has been an officer
of her synagogue's board
and its sisterhood. She was
the first woman in Toledo to
be chosen "young leader of
the year."
Mollie Lapides is Michi-
gan Region capital funds
co-chairman. Ruth Rosen-
feld is capital funds chair-
man.
