The Best of Everything

WASHINGTON — Ad-
miral Hyman Rickover, the
naval officer credited with
the development of the nu-
clear submarine, was hon-
ored by Congress in cere-
monies Tuesday.
Rickover, whose career in
the Navy spanned 63 years,
was presented with a gold
medal specially struck by
the U.S. Department of the
Treasury.

perfect affair.

IT'S STILL CALLED

the Honey Tree . . . for time
being at least . . . on Or-
chard Lake Rd. between 12
and 13 Mile . . . but there's
been a big change made.
New owners are Mark
Golematis, Andreas
Karabalis and Louis
Mihalis . . . deep in thought
for another name . . .
Former owners Tom Goulas
and Connie Efstathiou re-
tain Honey Tree title which
continues to operate at
Tally Hall in Hunters
Square, Orchard Lake Rd.
and 14 Mile.
The new Honey Tree res-
taurant seats 210 . . . with
80 in a lounge which now
serves Greek gourmet dis-
hes, many of which cannot
be gotten anywhere else in
this area . . . The other side
of Honey Tree will have its
regular family dining with
usual good food at very low
prices.

All the gourmet dishes
are under $10 ... Our
waiter, efficient, smiling

with green peppers and
burgundy wine, pastitsio,
spanakotyropita and
fresh cauliflower ($8.50)
. All dishes in both
areas are now either
cooked or sauteed ...
potatoes are only things
deep-fried . . . with fresh
vegetables also a feature.

In the gourmet lounge is
pianist-vocalist Don Cook, a
very fine entertainer whose
class oozes both on and off
piano bar.
Don is one of those types
of entertainers you like to
hear because his mellow
rhythms allow for talking if
necessary . . . Not too many
people say much when he is
at the piano and vocalizing
. . . Don's too good to miss
. . . and the gourmet food
seems so very conducive to
his classiness.
He plays accompanied by
a computer "side man" that
gives out soft rhythmic
beats in conformance with
all types of melodies .. .
This is not your ordinary
"side man" with its
monotonous type of beat .. .
Don's computer "partner" is
a choice asset possessing an
ability for quick transition.
Don plays everything .. .
from standards to Latin, etc.
. . . so very soft and pleasant

and Thursday, 7 p.m. to 12

Saturday, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

TEL AVIV (JTA) —
Former Chief of Staff Rafael
Eitan has formed a new
political movement known
as Tzomet (Advanced
Zionism) which advocates a
firmer and wider Israeli
hold over the West Bank
and the Golan Heights.
His supporters in the new
movement are members of
the so-called "Ein Vered"
and "Ben-Gurion" ideologi-
cal groups made up of pre-
sent and former extreme
hawkish members of the
Labor Party.
