Midrasha Has New Classes

Three new classes are
being offered by the Mid-
rasha: "Jewish Geography:

Finding Your Roots," be-
ginner's Hebrew and begin-

marmalade will be avail-
able from Tiptree,
England's producer of
preserves, jellies and mar-
malades, in time for
Passover 1984.
The new kosher-for-
Passover selection will in-
clude strawberry, raspberry
and blackcurrant preserves
and orange marmalade.
The preserves and mar-
malade will be prepared and
packed under strict super-
vision of the Beth Din, the
Rabbinical Council of Lon-
don, at the Tiptree process-
ing plant in England. Each
kosher 12-oz. jar will be
numbered and also bear the
official seal of the Beth Din.

1 Empire 10-14 lb. turkey
1 box pareve crackers
2 carrots
2 stalks celery
1 medium onion
1 egg
salt, pepper, garlic powder and
paprika to taste
1 cup apricot jelly
1 cup water
To prepare turkey: Stuff tur-
key with vegetable dressing.
Season turkey to taste. Bake
covered at 325 degrees until
one hour before done.

Glaze: Melt 1 cup apricot
jelly with 1 cup boiling water.
Simmer 5 minutes. Baste tur-
key with apricot glaze. Con-
tinue baking uncovered until
done, basting frequently with
pan juices.
To prepare dressing: Wet 1
box crackers. Drain and crush
with fingers. (Fastest method:
place ' trackers in colander.
Rinse under water. Drain and
crush.) Place carrots, celery,
onion and egg in blender.
Blend well. Mix vegetable mix-
ture with crushed crackers.
Add salt, pepper, paprika and
garlic powder to taste.
