Poll: Tel Aviv
Is First Choice

- TEL AVIV (JNI) — Given
the choice, most Israelis
would prefer to live in Tel
Aviv, with Jerusalem their
second choice and Haifa
third, according to a na-
tional survey commissioned
by the Tel Aviv Municipal-
ity.
The survey indicated that
22 percent of Israeli citizens
who want to move, want to
live in Tel Aviv, 17 percent
want to live in Jerusalem
and eight percent in Haifa.

The Agency has been try-
ing to persuade wealthy
communities that already
aid one renewal area to ac-
cept another, but with
limited success. Only Bal-
timore, which is "twinned"
with Jerusalem's Ir Ganim
Quarter, has formally
agreed to take on a second
area in Kiryat Gat.

of anti-nuclear demon-
strators massed outside the
heavily guarded Israeli
Embassy here Sunday sh-
outing anti-Israel slogans. •
They were part of a "hu-
man chain" that filled the
streets around the embas-
sies of all alleged nuclear
powers. These included the
U.S. and the Soviet Union,
China, South Africa, Brit-
ain, France, India and Is-
rael.
All of those countries, ex-
cept South Africa and Is-
rael, have tested nuclear
devices and acknowledge
their possession. Israel has
denied that it has nuclear
weapons, but is widely be-
lieved to have them or to
have the capability to man-
ufacture them.

nationwide protest against
the planned deployment of
U.S. cruise and Pershing 2
missiles in West Germany
at the end of this year. Ear-
lier, the American school in
Bonn was closed because of
an anonymous bomb threat.
The school is attended by
the children of most Israeli
diplomats, here.

Health Department will be
providing vaccines against
influenza from 10 a.m. to
noon Monday at the South-
field Senior Adult Center.

The shots are recom-
mended for persons 12 and
older who suffer from
chronic illnesses such as
diabetes, heart, lung, or
kidney conditions. Vaccines
are also recommended for
the elderly.

There is a nominal charge
for each vaccination, how-
ever, no one will be turned
away because of inability to
pay. For information, con-
