were married recently at
Cong. Beth Achim. Rabbi
Milton Arm and Cantor
Max Shimansky officiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Spiro
of Southfield. Parents of the
bridegroom are Mr. and

Mrs. Sam Cooper of Oak
Park.
Joyce Torby was the mat-
ron of honor. Phillip Cooper
was his brother's best man.
Following a Toronto hon-
eymoon, the couple is resid-
ing in Royal Oak.

dicate a historical marker
in memory of David E.
Heineman, designer of the
city of Detroit flag, at 1 p.m.
Sunday at the Detroit His-
torical Museum.

JNF Women Plan Meeting

The Women of Jewish
National Fund will hold
their opening meeting of the
year at noon Tuesday at
Temple Emanu-El. The
meeting will inaugurate
their annual fund-raising
campaign.
The guest speaker will be
Charles Wolfe, executive
vice president of the Jewish
Home for the Aged. His
topic will be, "Moscow Revi-
-sited." A musical program
will also be presented by
Geri Levitt, vocalist and
guitarist. Her accompanist
will be Gail Rubin.
Members are requested to
bring their Blue Boxes for
clearance. Refreshments
will be served. Bea Z'eigel-
man is fund-raising vice
