says "THANK YOU"...

Truly, there is hardly a field of endeavor in our
community which has not been touched in some
way by his personality and efforts. The Women's
Orthodox League, founded in 1946, was started in
the Gruskin home. In addition to his rabbinical
duties, and erudition and qualification for adjudi-
cating questions of Jewish law, the Rabbi has been
active in mental health, in prison work, in the field of
kashrus, counselling, helping to establish homes for
the retarded, and myriads of acts of Chessed and
benevolence. The downtrodden, the troubled, the
lost all turned to him and he seemed to find an
answer. We are justly proud of the many years of
service he has given us, a service which touched not
merely our synagogue but the entire community.
