Rose AZA to Usher at JARC Benefit

for JARC.
According to adult ad-
viser Mickey Rosner, in-
terest in the mentally re-
tarded was sparked three
years ago by a presentation
made to the group by JARC
Assistant Director Lynn
Medow.
Since that time, AZA
members have acted as vol-

JARC's summer softball
games and winter bowling
league. Volunteers help by
teaching the game, keeping
score and giving encour-
agement and physical assis-
tance if needed.
According to Sherry
Schamante, JARC's re-
creational coordinator,
the group's involvement
is especially valuable to
the clients because "it
provides a chance for
them to have one-to-one
help in learning the sport,
as well as develop friend-
ships."
After last year's softball
season, JARC hosted a pic-
nic for residents and volun-
teers. At the gathering, the
residents presented. Rose
AZA with a gift purchased
by the clients themselves -.
Within the past year,
Rose AZA received both the
JARC Volunteer of the Year
Award and the Walter E.
Klein Youth Award of the
Jewish Community Coun-
cil.

The family- of the late
Scott Raderman has dedi-
cated a forest in his memory
in Israel, under the auspices
of the Jewish National
Fund.
Mr. Raderman, who died
April 26, 1982, at age 27,
was a landscape architect.
He was graduated from
Michigan State University.
The forest was initiated
by his widow, Debbi Tyner

Diane Ruby and Wayne
Titche were married re-
cently at Temple Beth El.
Rabbi Richard Hertz of-
ficiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Mrs. Evelyn Pearl of
Northbrook, Ill., and Mr.
Arnold Ruby of Dearborn.
Parents of the bridegroom
are Mrs. Claude Titche and
the late Mr. Titche.
Karan Merrell was the
maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were: Lisa Ruby, Laura
Madison, Sandy Titche,
Patty Bishop, Anna Shell,
Cindy Forsyth and Ilise
Goldman.
Claude Titche III, the
bridegroom's brother,
was the best man. Ushers
were: Ronald Madison,

Following a honeymoon
in Hawaii, the couple is re-
