NBA's Kramer to Play '83-'84 Season in Israel

been playing basketball in
the National Basketball
Association the past five
seasons with the Phoenix
Suns, has left that team and
is currently slated to play
with the* Maccabi Tel Aviv
aggregation in the Israel
National League. Kramer
was a member of the U.S.
Maccabia team eight years
ago.
Kramer will reportedly
be receiving approximately
$75,000 for his services with
the Maccabi team and will
be replacing the depaited
Earl Williams. Kramer is a
bonafide Jew and does not
have to go through a con-
version program in order to
play in Israel.
