Novel Tells of Flight to Freedom

Author Erika Holzer
combines the themes of per-
sonal liberty and freedom
with international espion-
age in her first novel, "Dou-
ble Crossing" (G.P. Put-
nam's).
The book tells the story of
Dr. Kiril Andreyev, a Rus-

sian physician who desper-
ately wants to escape from
the Soviet Union. The doc-
tor's plans seem out of the
question following the
death of his best friend, the
man who was to serve as the
king-pin of his carefully
thought flight to the West.

TUITION: $10.00 -
per one-hour course

However, the arrival of
an American surgeon
who is nearly Andreyev's
double in appearance,
presents the doctor with
another chance to flee.
