THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Champagne Preview to Kick Off Israeli Art Show at the Center A sponsors' champagne preview will kick off the Expressions '83 show and sale of items representing the contemporary Israeli art scene at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at the main Jewish Com- munity Center. There is a charge for the preview. The succeeding days of the exhibit, open to the pub- lic free of charge, are from Oct. 9 to Oct. 16. Hours are 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Oct. 9-13 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 14. Media to be represented in the exhibition include sculpture, fiber works, ceramics, jewelry, weaving, enamel, glass, prints, woods, soft sculpture, stoneware, mosaics, metal and clay.
