ISAK SCHWARZBERG

The Eighth of Tishri

My dear Isak
As I kindle this yahrzeit, you reappear
before my eyes.
I pour out my heart to you, but no longer
shed a tear.
Isak, you gave so unselfishly of yourself
to make us happy.
Your last year was filled with so much
pain. You clung to life with a powerful grip
until God closed your eyes.
May you find peace that was denied to
you in this world.

Your loving wife Tola,
children and grandchildren
