Shermans Celebrate 60th
Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. (Lil-
lian) Sherman of Southfield
and Florida were honored
recently by their children
on the occasion of their 60th
wedding anniversary.
Their children are
Dorinne Velick of Oak
Park, Suzanne Velick of
Oak Park and Larry Sher-
man of Birmingham. The
senior Shermans have 10
grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
Although both were born
near Riga, Latvia, the
Shermans did not know one
another until they came to
the U.S. and settled with
