plexity of the problems,
the shifting nature of the
needs and the intractibil-
ity of some of the prob-
lems they seek to help
solve.
The agency professionals
assess individual and fam-
ily needs, and advise the
needy where to get help in
shelter, jobs, rehabilitation,
public aid, vocational train-
ing and medical services.

its efforts to help an esti-

suffering and deprivation

The federation has
created a Federation Home-

are; how many there are;
how they can be brought to
agencies which can provide
them with basic shelter and
foods; and follow-up aid
programs to meet a variety
of needs, physical, social
and emotional.
