Jewish Salons '

Thirty-four Jews were
elected to Congress in No-
vember 1982, four to the
Senate and 30 to the House.
Including the four Jewish
Senators whose terms were
not up this year, the 98th
Congress which took office
in January has 38 Jews
compared to 33 in the last
Congress.

A feeble government pro-
duces more factions than an
oppressive one.
