TEL AVIV (JTA) — An
Israeli soldier was slightly
wounded Saturday near
Aley on the Beirut-
Damascus highway when
an explosive charge went off
on the side of the road as he
passed by. He was hit in the
hand and treated on the spot
and returned to duty shortly
afterwards.
In other incidents, seven
terrorists were killed and
three were wounded by Is-
raeli forces. Five of those
killed and the three
wounded clashed with an
IDF unit in the Shouf moun-
tains on Thursday.
The army spokesman said
that the three wounded and
two of those killed had re-
cently escaped from the
Ansar detention camp . and
were being sought. The
other three dead terrorists
were Druze,
