Cemetery Near GM Plant Will Be Open Sept. 4 and 11 The Beth Olam (Smith Street) Cemetery, in the area of the General Motors Poletown Plant now under construction, will be open for visitation 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 4 and 11. Silverman Maurice Silverman, a sales representative for Vortex Pharmaceuticals, died Aug. 19 at age 60. Born in Toronto, Ont., Mr. Silverman was a member of Centennial Lodge of Bnai Brith.
