Tami leader Aharon Uzan, who is also labor and social affairs minister, said • there was only a "very small chance" that the Central Committee would overturn the secretariat's decision. Uzan noted that theoretically the gov- ernment could continue to rule without Tami's three Knesset votes, as it would still have a major- ity of the 120-member parliament. Premier Menahem Begin has asked Weizman to meet with him. The- first official meeting between the two men since Weizman left the Cabinet in 1980. The former defense chief is scheduled to brief Begin on his talks in Cairo, where he went on private business but met with a number of government officials, in- cluding President Hosni Mubarak. Meanwhile, Energy Minister Yitzhak Modai has left for Cairo, at the invita- tion of his Egyptian coun- terpart, Ahmad Illal. This is the first official visit by an Israeli minister since the Lebanon war began. Esteem is the greatest encouragement to virtue. The three-member Knes- set faction claimed that by levying such a fee the gov- ernment would take back benefits which were re- cently given to large families after Tami pres- sured the government. Tami's threat was promp- ted because the Kneset postponed a session during which it was to have ap- proved grants promised to large families. In addition, Tami leaders were upget by the Cabinet's decision to in- crease the tax on consumer goods by 10 percent. •••••••• •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• S • • WE ARE NOT A CURE! • • WE ARE A PREVENTATIVE • • • WE CAN PREVENT YOUR DRAPERIES FROM GETTING OLD TOO FAST • • • WITH OUR CLEANING METHODS • • • DRAPERIES • BEDSPREADS • BLANKETS ■I • • (Cleaned or Laundered) • • WINDOW SHADES • LAMPSHADES • PILLOWS : VENETIAN BLINDS (Cleaned, retaped & re-corded) • • • • ANY OTHER ITEMS YOU MAY HAVE - IF IT CAN BE • • CLEANED, WE'LL CLEAN IT AND CLEAN IT PROPERLY • • •• • Oco If you're moving we can remake and re-install • • Ak% • • your existing draperies to fit another window or • • room.
