The Katcher Family
Reunion will be held
Saturday and Sunday at the
Southfield Sheraton Hotel
and at Oak Park's Shepherd
Park. More than 150 de-
scendants of the Katcher
family who came from the
town of Pogrebische in the
Russian Ukraine will be on
hand to participate in the
activities.
Relatives are expected
from Montreal, Winnipeg,
Toronto and Windsor,
Canada; Alaska, Virginia,
Florida; Illinois, New York,
Maryland, Massachusetts,
California, Washington,_
Ohio and from throughout
Michigan.

educational curriculum de-
signed specifically for Jews
in the U.S. armed forces and
Jewish families who live on
American military bases
has been developed by the
Jewish Education Service of
North America (JESNA).
The curriculum includes
recommended texts, related
audio-visual materials and
periodicals in 11 subject
areas of Jewish interst.
