British Report Fewer Synagogue Weddings in '82 LONDON — A report by the demographic unit of the Board of Deputies at its July meeting, showed a net de- crease of 70 marriages (ap- proximately six percent) during 1982 as compared to the 1981 figure. The report also showed a steady down- ward trend, noting that the 1981 figure for marriages sanctioned by British synagogues was 3.4 percent lower than the 1980 figure.
