The girls and boys, rang- ing in ages from five to 10, are attending a camp for the third consecutive year. They use the facilities of the Boro Park Y and the Henry Kaufman Campgrounds on Staten Island, Fontek said. The day camp, created through a grant from the Edna Heller Sachs Special Fund of the federation of Jewish philanthropies, began on June 29 and will end Aug. 23. Fontek said the aim of the program is to develop the reading, verbal and motor abilities of such handicapped children. Fontek said the children are offered a wide range of activities and special serv- ices, ranging from basic religious observances to reading instruction, arts and crafts and games. Stanley H. Kaplan The Smart MOVE! Arens Denies Quote on Glenn TEL AVIV (JTA),— De- fense Minister Arens has denied a statement attrib- uted to him in the New York Post in which he allegedly told city officials that he has deep reservations about how Israel would fare if John Glenn became President. According to the Post, Arens, at a private break- fast with Mayor Edward Koch and other city officials at Gracie Mansion last week,- said he felt Glenn, who is seeking the Demo- cratic Party presidential nomination, would try to force Israel to return the territories it had taken in the Six-Day War. Arens was also said to have criticized Defense Sec- retary Casper Weinberger as anti-Israel. An aide to Arens said here: "The only thing correct about the New York newspaper story is that Arens met with Koch at Koch's residence while Arens was in New York 10 days ago." Arens visit to New York was part of his and Foreign Minister Yitzhak Shamir's visit to Washington where they met with President Reagan and other top Ad- ministration officials. Chief Rabbi JERUSALEM (JTA) — Rabbi Yitzhak Kolitz was elected as the new Chief Ashkenazic Rabbi of Jerusalem. The 60-year-old rabbi had been a member of the Rabbinical High Court of Appeal.
