The new proposed policy
states, "The Constitution of
the United States estab-
lishes religious freedom and
a clear separation of church
and state. The Bloomfield
Hills School District recog-
nizes its parallel obligation
in both areas- and will be di-
ligent in its observance of
that position .. .
"Respect for others, their
diverse beliefs, and their
individual differences is an
ongoing concern of the
school district, and sensitiv-
ity of these differences will
be reflected in all district
activities."

tional 26 percent of the
equity in Israel's fifth
largest bank, the First In-
ternational Bank of Israel.
IDB Ltd. already owns ap-
proximately 15 percent of
First International Bank of
Israel through its Canadian
subsidiary, Canada-Israel

The former Miss Stein is
the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Emanuel L. Stein of
West Bloomfield. Mr. Saxe
is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Lawrence I. Saxe, former
Detroiters of Las Vegas,
Nev.
Alisa Rautbort was maid
of honor and bridesmaids
were Laura Rubin, Miriam
Gotman and Leslie Lipin.
Junior bridesmaid was Lori
Bobroff of Florida.
Michael Saxe was his
brother's best man.
Ushers included Larry
Stein and Steven Wink-
ler. Joshua Saxe was jun-
ion usher. Also par-
ticipating in the cere-
mony were the bride's
grandmothers, Mrs. Rose
Bobroff and Mrs. Goldie
Stein, and the groom's
grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Norman Lepofsky.
Following a New York
honeymoon the couple will
